Privacy Policy

This notice describes how we handle information about you. By visiting this site, you are accepting the practices described below.

Overview

Gratis Technologies LLC knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. Gratis Technologies LLC, our Licensees and our Licensee’s service providers are committed to safeguarding your personal information and your right to privacy on our website. The following information summarizes the privacy guidelines that apply to your online experience with us.

How We Use and Share Information

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described here, and only with affiliates and Licensees that Gratis controls that either are subject to this Privacy Policy or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Policy. This sharing never includes your mobile phone number or text messaging consent, which are covered by the Text Messaging (SMS) section below.

Promotional offers. Sometimes we send offers to selected groups of Gratis or Licensee customers on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name, address, mobile phone number, or messaging consent. If you do not want to receive such offers, you can adjust your customer communication preferences, and we can delete your profile at your request.

Third-party advertising. Our site includes third-party advertising. We do not provide any personally identifiable customer information to these advertisers. These third-party websites and advertisers, or the internet advertising companies working on their behalf, sometimes use technology to send (or “serve”) the advertisements that appear on our site directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (also known as action tags or single-pixel GIFs), and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. We do not have access to or control over cookies or other features that they may use, and the information practices of these advertisers and third-party websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Please contact them directly for more information about their privacy practices.

The information you provide on surveys and promotions on our website will be used for internal marketing purposes, including developing website information and services that you may find helpful. We may also inform you of new services based on the information you provide us.

Text Messaging (SMS)

Information we collect. When you opt in to receive text messages from Darling's Brunswick Ford, we collect your mobile phone number, the date, time and method of your opt-in, and the content of the text messages you send to and receive from us.

How we use it. We use this information only to operate our text messaging program: to send you the messages you agreed to receive, such as appointment reminders, service updates, account notifications, and promotional or marketing messages related to our dealership; to respond to your replies and HELP requests; and to keep a record of your consent and any opt-out requests.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, and the sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy does not apply to this information.

We share your mobile phone number only with the service providers that help us deliver our text messaging program, such as our messaging platform provider and wireless carriers, and only for the purpose of delivering messages to you. They are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and will not send you any further text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 207-531-1318.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. For full program details, please see our SMS Terms of Service.

Cookies

We use “cookies” to provide you with better service and a better experience while you are online with us. A cookie is a small text file that can be placed on your system to allow us to facilitate image changes, collect anonymous aggregate site traffic, and allow you to personalize our services to your needs. Our website does not require you to accept cookies, and you can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. If you choose not to accept cookies, you may experience some reduction in graphics and other personalized services.

Single Sign-On

We provide users the option to use single sign-on through Google and Facebook. Our application will use your name and email from your social media account to link with your autoWALL account. These are the only pieces of personal information used, and this is the only way in which this information is used.

Your Choices

If you do not want to receive text, e-mail or other mail from us, you can adjust your customer communication preferences by removing your email from your vehicle profile. To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message we send. (If you do not want to receive our Terms of Use and other legal notices, such as this Privacy Policy, those notices will still govern your use of the site, and it is your responsibility to review them for changes.)

If you do not want us to use the personal information that we gather to allow third parties to personalize advertisements we display to you, you can adjust your advertising preferences.

Keeping Your Account Secure

There are steps you can take to protect your personal information online. At a minimum, we recommend the following precautions:

• Never share your online ID.
• Never share your password.
• Change your password often.
• Make sure no one is watching when you enter your online ID and password.
• Do not send confidential information by email unless you are in a secure session.

Planning Tools and Calculators

There are many planning tools throughout our website to help you make financial decisions in the privacy of your home. When you use these tools on our website, the calculations may run on your device or on our server. We do not capture the personal information you provide on these planning tools. We may display banner advertisements for products or services that apply to the calculator or tool being used.

When you link from our website to other sites, the privacy practices of those sites may differ from ours. We recommend that you review the privacy notice of any site you visit if confidentiality is a concern.
